Because Chaos Theory is its own self-contained universe, it runs on its own timescale. For one, this means your character will stay the same age until time is advanced. Wed like to keep some sense of realism here (or as much as we can considering that this is a sci-fi/fantasy board).

3985 BtC/3951 BBY: The Mandalorian Wars rage and the Sith War after, with the planets Malachor V and Peragus II being destroyed in the ensuing conflicts.
66 BtC/32 BBY: The Trade Federation invades the planet of Naboo unsuccessfully with legions of battle droids.
56 BtC/22 BBY: The Clone Wars begins on Geonosis. The Galactic Republic forms a clone army to fight the droids of the Separatists.
53 BtC/19 BBY: The Clone Wars end. Palpatine forms the Galactic Empire from the remnants of the Republic.
34 BtC/0 BBY: The Battle of Yavin is fought, with the Death Star I destroyed after the planet of Alderaan is destroyed.
31 BtC/3 BBY: The Empire defeats the Rebellion at the Battle of Hoth.
30 BtC/4 ABY: The Empire is defeated at the Battle of Endor with the destruction of the Death Star II and Palpatine's death, marking the end of the Sith once more, and the outbreak of rogue Imperial warlords.
29 BtC/5 ABY: The New Republic is formed on the planet of Coruscant.
23 BtC/10 ABY: The Jedi Order is re-established throughout the Galaxy, based on Coruscant at the site of their old Jedi Temple. During this time, the world of Byss is destroyed thanks to an attempted resurgence of the Empire. Peace reins for years after this event. There are no major incursions into the Galaxy by any forces external forces, but wartime technology still builds amidst the rising fears of an Imperial attack.
5 BtC: The Sith Order makes a resurgence - a silent one. Hidden away on the planet Bastion, their leader - a Lady Velori - begins re-establishing the Galactic Empire by subverting Imperial warlords. Warships and soldiers are prepared as the Sith Order is trained and ready for a plan that would decimate the New Republic.
0 BtC: The Sith Order and Galactic Empire make their first appearance. All over Republic and Jedi bastions, small spheres appear, roughly the size of a Super Star Destroyer - before unleashing a barrage of lasers and missiles down upon military, Jedi and civilian targets alike. These small-scale Death Stars - nicknamed 'Chaos Stars' - destroyed much of the Republic military and the Jedi holdings with scaled-back Death Star superlasers. However, these Chaos Stars were eventually decimated by the Republic's quick response time and the power of the Jedi Order.
Over many planets, the Empire and Republic clashed - as did Sith and Jedi. However, it was a massive loss for both sides - reduced to one real power base, both groups needed to count their losses and hold back for a while, retreating to their home worlds - the Jedi and Republic back to Coruscant, and the Sith and Empire to Bastion.
1 AtC: The war continues. Minor skirmishes are fought, but there is only one large-scale conflict in this year; the Battle of Hypori. New Republic and Empire forces fight over the planet, seemingly to a standstill - until Empress Velori unleashes her final Chaos Star on the New Republic, destroying a carrier with it, before turning its superlasers on the planet itself - and eradicating Hypori from the face of the galaxy, slaughtering millions of civilians, Empire soldiers and New Republic warriors alike.
2 AtC: Current day.
